They came out of a Ford Escort Wagon PHEV that was built by one of the many colleges to which Ford donated these cars. New Electric Bicycle Convesion Kit - If you can change a tire, you can convert your 26" mountain bike with this 600 watt front hub electric motor. Average range is 20 miles @ 20 mph. Recharges in 4-6 hours. All cables connect together with plugs. Total weight is about 34 pounds. NOT recommended for front shocks or aluminum forks. I bought one for myself and one for my wife, but she prefers to pedal. It's fun, cheap transportation.
