1976 VW Bug personal conversion SOLD! ($4,500 on 10/2/07)

"I have a 1976 VW Bug with sunroof that needs the finishing touches done to it. I converted it for a friend that changed their mind so I just want my investment back. Got the kit from KTA all new stuff, 8" motor, curtis controller, K&W battery charger, converter 96 volts, new batteries, 8, 12 volt deep cycle, new acc. battery, amp meter, volt meter, status of charge gage, new flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, all new heavy duty shocks, new rear brakes, two new front tires,, Car runs and shifts well but front brakes are draging a bit and may need wheel bearing or just repacked. I've had it up to 50 mph but still don't know the true range due to brakes and wheel bearings. Sun roof leaks and will need a new locking mechanism and gasket. Minor surface rust on floors, no holes and a few rust bumps on the sun roof. Passengers seat doesn't lean forward without alot of trouble. Just needs to be finished and tightened up. My HOA wants it out of my driveway ASAP and I already have my electric truck for myself. price is $7,000.00 It's in Tucson, AZ someone come and get it!."
