In its third year of competition, the SRP Solar Spectacular was a big hit at Tempe Town Lake! In a series of competitions over the spring, high schools build solar-electric boats from scratch, then compete head-to-head on the waters of Tempe Town Lake. This year, the Phoenix EAA sponsored the sprint races, offering plaques and prize money to the winners. The Phoenix EAA also had several EVs on display for the EVent.
