Heritage and Science Park, Downtown Phoenix

"Gene, Nick and I were just in the Phoenix 2010 'Motoring Through Time' auto show this week-end in Heritage Square next to the Arizona Science Center in downtown Phoenix. As always Gene was the star with many of his driving trophies from NASCAR, Drag racing to Pikes Peak EV challenge and many APS 500 Solar and Electric wins. His 81 VW Rabbit with over 180,000 EV miles is a great way to show why all the big automakers are now going electric. Nicks all electric Micro VAN was a very popular site with it's small size and being all electric. There was a perfectly restored 1914 Rouch-Lang Electric with tiller steering. It looked like brand new and was said to be able to go 90 miles on a charge, but only had a top speed of 20 mph!"
